Guidelines & Terms
Renters are liable for any loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear. Please report any issues within 24 hours of arrival.
As the primary booking contact, you are responsible for the behavior and actions of all members of your group throughout your stay.
Due to the design and authentic wood deck, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house, game room, and on the wood deck areas. Please use designated outdoor areas only.
For safety reasons, the following areas are strictly off-limits due to the presence of chemicals, tools, or equipment that may pose a hazard. Access to these areas is permitted only to authorized personnel:
- Pump room
- Septic and water tank zones
- Pathway located behind the game room
🏊 NOTICE TO SWIMMERS
Only spandex swimwear is allowed in the pool.

At Rachel’s Retreat, we maintain the highest standards for pool water quality and safety. Our 8,000-gallon pool undergoes regular professional maintenance to ensure crystal-clear, properly balanced water for every guest.
While we strive to keep the pool available throughout your stay, there may be occasions when temporary closure is necessary to maintain water quality and safety standards.
Reasons for temporary closure may include:
- Emergency water treatment due to unforeseen contamination
- Chemical rebalancing following heavy pool usage
- Debris accumulation from environmental factors (storms, high winds, nearby vegetation)
- Equipment maintenance or repair to ensure optimal filtration
- Water clarity issues requiring professional intervention
Typical Closure Duration:
Most maintenance procedures require 4:00 PM (afternoon) to 12:00 PM (noon) the following day. However, depending on the nature of the treatment required, closure times may vary to ensure we deliver safe, crystal-clear water.

We make every effort to resolve pool water issues as quickly as possible. Our maintenance team works diligently to minimize downtime and restore pool access at the earliest opportunity.
Guest safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during any necessary maintenance periods.
If pool maintenance is required during your stay, we will notify you as soon as possible with:
- Reason for the temporary closure
- Expected duration of maintenance
- Estimated time of reopening
We understand that pool access is an important part of your vacation experience, and we work to minimize any inconvenience.
Pool closures for emergency maintenance or water treatment are necessary safety measures and do not qualify for rental refunds or compensation. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and accept that pool availability may be temporarily affected by maintenance requirements.

$1,000 TTD for the entire facility or $500 TTD per apartment.
This deposit is refundable, subject to deductions for damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning. A detailed breakdown will be provided if needed.
Owners are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings. Guests must exercise caution and supervise children at all times, especially near the pool. All activities are at the renter’s own risk.
To prevent overcrowding, only the number of individuals listed in the booking form are permitted on the property.
- Unauthorized guests beyond the confirmed number of occupants will incur an additional fee of $200 per person.
- We reserve the right to terminate the stay without refund if this policy is violated.
Prohibited Substances & Items
The possession, use, or introduction of any illegal items is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to drugs, firearms, explosives, and hazardous materials.
No pets of any kind are allowed on the premises, as we do not have appropriate facilities to accommodate pets.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in: 12:00 PM (Noon) | Check-out: 12:00 PM (Noon)
Extended check-in or check-out times can be arranged upon request at an additional cost, subject to availability.
A post-checkout inspection will determine eligibility for a full or partial security deposit refund. This process may take up to 7 days.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, to protect our booking schedule, the following cancellation fees apply:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before check-in: A non-refundable fee of $500 TTD will be retained. Any excess money beyond this fee will be refunded.
- Cancellation within 30 days of check-in: A non-refundable fee of $1,000 TTD will be retained. Any excess money beyond this fee will be refunded.
Please note: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of cancellation confirmation.
Garbage Disposal
Please bag all garbage securely and place it in the outdoor barrels near the gate. We have hired an individual to assist with carrying the garbage to the main road.
Garbage collection is scheduled early each morning.
Discretion & Courtesy
This property is located in a residential area and may be shared with other guests. Please be mindful of noise levels—particularly loud music—and maintain respectful behavior at all times.
Water Conservation Policy
To help preserve water during your stay, we kindly ask that guests refrain from washing vehicles on the property. This small effort goes a long way in supporting responsible usage while the authorities continue to improve overall water access.
